Scenes from an epilogue – posted

Anne | September 14th, 2007 | 6 Comments »

Six scenes from What Isabella Desires were uncovered in a long lost tomb — complete with cobwebs, pirate treasure and the scrolls from Alexandria. There were small tears and chunks missing (cough, *narrative*, cough), but the pertinent information remained intact. I decided to post them all in one go (the scenes – not the cobwebs, treasure or scrolls), hence the time lapse from the announcement. Hope you like them! If you haven’t read the book, don’t click the link! Major spoilers within!

News report: Scholars are working to reassemble the rips and missing bits, but the scholarly jury is still out on whether they will be reattached to their rightful places. However, there may be more scenes translated and posted in the future. ;)

Three things – keeping them apart

Anne | August 8th, 2007 | No Comments »

1. A madman. Who is after Marcus, and through him Isabella.
2. Pride. Deadly and dangerous.
3. Marcus’ secret. One he never plans to share. One that threatens everything between them.

Three things – Marcus’s perspective

1. The way she takes care of everyone. The debutantes, the wallflowers, the shy men, the matrons.
2. The way she makes things grow. Her garden, her unending supply of love, her strength.
3. The way she makes him feel. Those feelings locked deep inside…

If only he can keep her as a friend and not convert those feelings into something more…

Three things – Isabella’s perspective

Three things that Isabella loves about Marcus:

1. The way he plays chess. Dominating, with clever moves and skillful forays.
2. The way he plays the piano. Fingers skimming across keys, emotion brimming from every touch.
3. The way he makes her feel. Warm as a friend. Hot as a woman.

If only she can convert the latter heat into a two way street…
