Hmmm… I didn’t pick up on that. I think Slash is obviously just projecting.

I found the subtly camouflaged homosexual relationships most intriguing. While it was clear that Mr. McShaver was no stranger to women, his latent preference for mans unfolded perfectly. The story introduces him as destroying his record of womanly experiences as he breaks apart his bed and orders a fresh one. He is then smitten by a man named Carl who he calls “Caroline” to ease his entry into the path of man love. Even the small boy next door, Justin, is femonized in his minds eye to “Justine” as if the name even exists. And of course we can not forget that Mr. McShaver, as a cobbler, is obsessed with shoes. While almost sickeningly cliché, this does fit in perfectly with his latent sexual preferences. Of course the true joy from the story comes from its conclusion where Mr. McShaver embraces Mr. Travis where we can probably assume that the relationship will last much longer than past the first date. However with the new bed, we can only assume that Mr. McShaver is probably just getting started.

I echo Matt’s requests, we want more back door stories!

I’m being hard to be the believe that the man who write this actually man. The Joshua McShaver is too the sexy. If author person actually a man, sexy-time would be faster and more on a point. Story not even really talk about sexy-time with the Caroline. All care about is shoes. No. Author person is woman.

You left out the best part - the lesbian action between Justine and Caroline when Justine delivered the "shoes".

Very entertaining story.

That is an great piece of writing. I was LMAO, although my A stayed in the seat, so I didn't make it all the way to ROTF. The bedpost bit is top notch.

Is the author a pseudonym for Steven Colbert? It's like a Tek Jenson Codeventure set in regency england.

I want more. When do we get the backstory from the backstory? More McShaver conquests. More on this intriguing Rawling character. If getting knocked out during a shoe-measurement session isn't awkward, I have to know what is.

What is a stud like that thinking, settling down while he's in his prime?

If it doesn't work out with Caroline, consider ditching the "foot massage especial" for an even better move: stopping short in the carriage. Rumor has it that's the move Justine's husband used to win her.
