Pithing the take

So Matt thought I was making a joke about taking the fifth on the post title yesterday, when I was really going for a riff on a British slang phrase. Ah, the complexities of posting unintelligibly at 1am. Who else feels like it should be Thursday already?

Oh, and I believe Word of the Day pith has already chosen early retirement, with cut being a scroller. If you want ‘em shorter, let me know.

Shorter? No way. Especially if it means we’d miss out on the use of the word in sentences that also contain “debauchery” and “nubile young virgin”.
